Gabriel Van Ingen was born in Germany in 1970. His Mother was Irish and Dutch and his father Scottish. He grew up in England, spending his Summers in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Educated at Nottingham Trent University and De Montfort University his work has been widely exhibited with solo exhibitions in the Uk and Europe including work published in Vogue Italia. He is perhaps best known as the Founder of Secta Studios, the first independent cultural industries center in the East Midlands. He is known for his landscape and portrait photography, working with Victorian processes such as wet-plate collodion, Platinum printing as well as digital.
Gabriel now runs Clear View Studio, a bespoke photographic studio in Nottingham with natural light, full studio facilities as well as a large photographic darkroom, set in a quiet rural part of Nottingham on the border of Lambley.
With over 25 years’ experience of professional commercial, studio, and editorial photography, Gabriel is available to cover any commercial, editorial or project in the UK and abroad.
